We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, such as your name, email address, and profile details. When you use Speakyo, we also collect usage data including lessons completed, conversation history, pronunciation recordings (processed in real-time and not stored permanently), and app settings. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial data, biometrics, or government identifiers.

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, operate, and maintain the Speakyo service • Personalise your learning path and lesson recommendations • Send you progress updates, achievement notifications, and support messages • Improve our product through aggregated, anonymised analytics • Communicate important updates about the service We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase (hosted on AWS) as our primary data platform, which complies with SOC 2 Type II standards. Session data is encrypted both in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

If you opt in to push notifications, we collect your device's Expo push token to send you reminders and announcements. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app.

Speakyo uses the following third-party services to operate: • Supabase — database and authentication • Google (Gemini API) — conversation processing (data processed, not stored) • Expo — app delivery and push notification routing • Google Play — app distribution Each of these providers has their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.

Speakyo is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to: • Access the personal data we hold about you • Correct inaccurate data • Request deletion of your account and data • Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time • Export your data in a portable format To exercise these rights, email us at hello@speakyolearning.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of Speakyo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
